The best way to know is to compare a few different colors so you can see the subtle undertones and notice any clashing issues with the rich brown of the walnut. Edgecomb gray is a greige (or pale taupe) so you've got that category of warm neutrals covered. You could also look at Ballet White which is similar but a shade lighter. Next I would also look at beige and cream. Take a look at Canvas Tan by Sherwin Williams which is a bit more of a light beige. You'll notice it'll feel rosy and warm and make Edgecomb gray feel cold and gray by comparison. I would also look at White Sand by Benjamin Moore. It is nice and creamy but doesn't feel too yellow. One of my favorite cream paints is Natural Wicker. Here is a post helping explain how to pick a neutral wall color with more details https://aseasonforhome.com/whats-the-best-neutral-paint-color-for-walls/ You can also brush out a large sample to see if it goes together.
