Hi Mary, As far as a white pairing, White Dove tends to look dingy in darker homes. Is this the case for your lighting? If so I think going with a more yellow based white (like Dover White by Sherwin Williams or Whitetail if you like a really crisp look.) I think that would be better than White Opulence which feels a little stark and pink by comparison. It is counter intuitive to add warmth to your white paint to eliminate dinginess, but for some reason it works! If I were to need to pick a color to in a room adjacent to Edgecomb Gray I would choose Oyster Bar by Sherwin-Willaims for a lighter hue, or go with a darker one like jogging path for a cozier feel. Both of these lean into the green undertones you'll see in Edgebcomb Gray and do not have clashing undertones.

I’m intrigued by Muslin for a bedroom that the main part of our home, open concept, is done in Edgecomb gray. For trim and ceilings we chose White Opulence by BM. Will that work with Muslin. Dove Gray in our home looked too gray and a little dingy. White Opulence was still creamy but cleaner. And I see no pink undertones.
